4 Jny23...

Sneak preview:

So, I decided to get my shit together and stop doodling and start painting for people. This one goes out to jny23...Why? Because he asked (was serious about it).
so here's what i came with today (I will spare you the sketches and doodles)
First Draft:
Medium: Watercolour
I know its abit all over the place with the colours and crazy background patterns but i was just experimenting, before i do the final thing in Oil paint on canvans...it will eventually look more "together"...lol
(hope the nudity is okay, not too much?)
*Bless*
Thanks for the support!

@ Streetsider - its negotiable

@ Mckeith - LoL, well all jny23 told me was that he wanted something along the lines of "beautiful women"...Nudity because is raw beauty, floral like finish and fruity colours to link it with nature, which is true beauty, i also kept the outline unfinished and let it merge with the back ground and only defined the main curves in order to only capture the essence of femininity but not confine it to a single particular body shape, frizzy green afro to keep it afro centric, lol, plus it just looked cool! yeah?

@ Tubeman - does she look sad? well, it was an attempt at humility and serenity...can open her eyes if you think it would look better...

@ Bernard - no it didnt...most people never really check...lol

@ Sleek - LoL!cool! I'll get at u once i get some canvases put together...

So i'm guessing the nudity isnt too much? its on the border of decency but not yet indecent, right?

Decency is only an agreed upon standard. And not even democratically agreed upon. Personally I think where art is involved, nudity is not an issue.

Hi, Eizzy!

Sorry this response is coming so late. Glad you dig "Headshot!". The book is now, finally, available and you can order yours by heading over to the Canadian Zombies website - http://canadianzombies.com

The books are 5$ CAN each + shipping and handling. Send a cheque to the address listed under the membership section. Unfortunately, we don't have the PayPal account up and running yet.

That is a good point - I really should think about doing more afro zombies... we've got one in the book but he isn't very exciting - a "Voodoo Zombie". Maybe more next time. :)

So yeah! That's how you can get your hands on a copy of "Headshot!"

If you have any more questions or comments just let me know, or before you mail any sort of cheque. Then I can let Clayton know to work out how much shipping stuff to Africa would cost.

Also, check out my blog now - I've updated it and we actually have a bunch of other cool merch that we're offering, including flashlights, pens and pencils, buttons and a mug! :)

Thanks for your interest, Eizzy!
