Release

I lift my eyes unto the heavens,
and my head tilts back
as the body releases the soul from its hold,
exhaled in a cloud of smoke,
tension bubbles out in bouts of laughter,
sudden like tropical rains,
teardrops streak down my face
and are absorbed into the the earth;
released into the universe.
so i tilit my head back
and fall into the never ending blue...
